 After looking through the ELA Standards, I selected the standard LAFS.2.SL.1.2, which is found in "Grade 2". This standard requires students to describe important details from a passage which had been read to them orally or through some other form of presentation (recording device, powerpoint, online textbook, etc.). This standard basically requires students to interpret what they hear or see and answer questions about it to see whether or not they comprehended what they had heard/seen. I feel prepared to implement this standard for two reasons. I feel am "tech savy" enough to use media that students nowadays can relate to. I also feel that, personally, I can present information well enough for young students to understand.  The tool/resource that I have selected is from the second grade, mathematics category. Working on the Web Design had its ups and downs. It was difficult to place text boxes and images exactly where I wanted them to go. I did not like the large amount of buttons because it was a little overwhelming. I did enjoy how you could use a template of someone else's website. This made it a little easier to figure out how I wanted my website to look. I can use this application in the future when I actually have my own classroom and wish to make a website that both my students and their parents can use.  Link:  https://mml20a.weebly.com Working with Diigo is a new experience. It took me a while to figure out how to annotate documents, but once I got the hang of it, I realized this website is very helpful. In the classroom, this application can be used by students when doing research projects.
